McDonald's 2020/2021 Employer Branding Campaign, with the concept "We care about our People," operates on three pillars:

  • Training - through the National UP Scholarship Program and the development of skills, with over 50,000 annual training hours provided by its own Training Center.
  • Flexibility - through customized scheduling to meet the needs of each individual and the restaurants.
  • Continuous appreciation - through recognition, awards, career progression, and the promotion of improved living conditions.

Using actual employees added an authentic touch to the campaign. Potential job candidates could see real people who had experienced working at McDonald's, which made the brand more relatable and genuine. It demonstrated that McDonald's was not just making claims but was willing to let its employees speak for the brand.
